Catherine Zeta-jones Makes A Return To The Stage

Catherine Zeta-Jones made a return to the stage at last night's (13.06.11) Tony Awards.

The 'Chicago' star - who was making her first high-profile appearance at the event since undergoing treatment for Bipolar II disorder - presented two prestigious prizes at the ceremony, which recognises the achievements of actors in live Broadway theatre.

Handing out the awards for Best Performance by an Actor in a Leading Role in a Play and Best Performance by an Actor in a Leading Role in a Musical to Mark Rylance and Norbert Leo Butz respectively, Catherine admitted she would like to take to the stage in London.

She said: "I got my big break tap dancing in '42nd Street' in London. That's where it all started and I would love to do a show in London again but no one has asked me."

The 41-year-old star - who wore a red gown to the ceremony - picked up a Tony last year for her performance in the Broadway revival of 'A Little Night Music'.

This year, 'South Park' creators Trey Parker and Matt Stone's 'The Book of Mormon' dominated, winning nine accolades, including Best Musical.
