Cate Blanchett Honoured At Australia's Helpmann Awards
Cate Blanchett was the toast of Australia's Helpmann Awards on Monday night (24Sep12) after scooping a top acting prize.
The star walked away with the Best Female Actor in a Play honour for her role in the Sydney Theatre Company's (Stc) show Gross und Klein, while Paul Capsis won the male equivalent for his performance in Angela's Kitchen.
Singer Kylie Minogue was also honoured at the prizegiving, picking up the Best Australian Contemporary Concert award for her Les Folies Tour 2011.
Pop legend Prince bagged a trophy too - he was the recipient of the Best International Contemporary Concert for his Prince: Welcome 2 Australia shows.
