Country star CARRIE UNDERWOOD showed off her caring side on Tuesday (25Sep12) by taking an injured chipmunk to a vet.
The Good Girl hitmaker's pet dog Ace attempted to eat the furry squirrel, which the star named Dale, and the singer took the critter to an expert to make sure he was unharmed.
Alongside a picture of the creature on her Twitter.com page, Underwood writes, "Meet Dale. My dog, Ace, tried to eat him today! Good news: the vet does take care of chipmunks and Dale is doing fine! And yes, I did take a chipmunk to the vet. And no, I'm not keeping him! He will be released into a different yard with no Ace to chase him!"
The former president was believed by some to have been suffering from dementia during his second term in office from 1984 to 1988.
