Carrie will also be delving deep into the world being a musician and Mike into the world of a professional hockey-player. This particular foray is but one of the many stops for Miss Underwood/Mrs Fisher as she continues the promotion of her fourth studio album, 'Blown Away.' The album has so far proved to be particularly well received, as it is currently spending its second week atop the Billboard Charts in the US, batting off competition from the likes of Adele and Lionel Richie.

The flagship show on Oprah's Own - or Oprah Winfrey Network - has previously seen her interview George Lucas, Aerosmith's Steven Tyler and the family of the late Whitney Houston.
