Caroline Issa debuts her fashion line at Nordstroms.
Clothing designer, Caroline has announced the launch of her first clothing line with the American department store, Nordstroms.
Formerly a management consultant, the brunette is ready to take the fashion industry by storm with her stylish take on tailoring and bold colors. Nordstroms Signature x Caroline Issa is a luxurious collection and prices range from $225 to $2,995.
Talking to the Vogue website, she explained: ''It's a 25-piece collection - with everything from dresses, coats and jackets, to cashmere sweaters and blouses - and it will reflect my idea of key essentials in any woman's wardrobe.''
It's not the first time the designer has worked with the department store though. In fact she began her post-graduate career with the company.
She said: ''After I graduated from undergrad business school in Philadelphia, I moved to San Francisco and started my career as a management consultant. Luckily I was assigned to Nordstrom, my first client, and lived in Seattle for six months working with them on a strategy project. It's so amazing that I'm able to come full circle and work with them again, I jumped at the opportunity!''
Caroline was also full of praise for Yasmin Sewell, a relatively unknown British fashion consultant who was similarly picked up by the department store Barney's to create her own collection.
She enthused: ''I know - how wonderful, right? London has always laid claim to stylish women and men, and with the world so much smaller due to our Instagram accounts, street-style blogs and Twitter, I think that women all around the world can relate to a style point of view coming out of London.''
The Nordstrom Signature x Caroline Issa will be available in Nordstrom stores and on Nordstrom.com from February.
