Carly Simon - Carly Simon Staging Living Room Benefit Gig
21 November 2012Veteran singer Carly Simon is staging a special charity concert from her living room on Wednesday night (21Nov12) to raise funds for the ongoing Hurricane Sandy relief effort.
The You're So Vain hitmaker will perform a show with her musician kids Ben and Sally Taylor from the comfort of her own home and stream it online.
Fans have been invited to tune into the Thanksgiving Eve gig via StageIt.com, where they can request songs and ask Simon and her kids questions.
Viewers will be encouraged to donate to the American Red Cross throughout the online show.
The five biggest 'tippers' will be gifted with signed Cds by Simon and her children, whose father is singer/songwriter James Taylor.
Simon and Taylor divorced in 1983 after 11 years of marriage.
