The athletes got together to lip-sync and dance along to the song ahead of the recent London 2012 Olympic Games, with participants including multi-gold medal winners Michael Phelps, Missy Franklin and Ryan Lochte.

The video scored hundreds of thousands of hits after it was posted on YouTube.com and Jepsen admits she was delighted with the Olympians' efforts.

She tells U.S. news show Access Hollywood, "Oh wow!... That's impressive... That's made my day. That's so rad (sic)... It means the world to me. I think it's just one of those things that you can't totally take it in. It's crazy that they know the song and took the time to make their own spin on it. It just makes me really happy."
