Carly Rae Jepsen - Carly Rae Jepsen Misses Out On Top Five As Pink Triumphs With First Number One

Carly Rae Jepsen has missed out on a top five debut in the U.S. album charts thanks in part to Pink, The Killers and Kanye West.

The Call Me Maybe singer's debut Kiss underwhelmed with 46,000 first-week sales, while Pink crashed in at number one with her first chart-topper and her best sales week ever.

The Trouble singer broke the big news to followers on Twitter on Tuesday (25Sep12), writing, "After 13 years and 6 records, I'm beyond floored to have a #1 album in the Us. I'm grateful for all the ears and all the hearts." And now her feat is official.

She beats Kanye West's G.O.O.D. Music Cruel Summer compilation to the top of the charts, while The Killers' Battle Born debuts at three.

Last week's number one, Dave Matthews Band's Away From the World, falls to four on the new countdown.

Meanwhile, on the singles chart, Maroon 5 land a second week at number one with One More Night, while Korean pop sensation Psy's Gangnam Style rockets up the countdown to number two.

The Asian superstar has vowed to perform the track topless if it reaches number one.

Christina Aguilera makes a splash in the Hot 100, debuting her new track Your Body at 34 to score the highest new entry.
