Carly Rae Jepsen Denies Sex Tape: It's Not Me!

Carly Rae Jepsen has denied she is the star of a new sex tape.

The 'Call Me Maybe' hitmaker says the woman in the X-rated footage - which shows a female with long brown hair and a fringe, similar to the singer's, performing a sex act on a man - is ''obviously'' not her and she has branded the comparisons ''ridiculous''.

In a post on her twitter account denying the claims, Carly tweeted to her 1.7 million fans: ''Crazy morning. Discovered that someone put up a sex tape claiming to be me. Ridiculous. Obviously not me.''

The video emerged on the web yesterday (23.07.12) and appears to have been filmed recently as Katy Perry and Kanye West's hit 'E.T.' can be heard playing in the background.

The 26-year-old singer's spokesperson told TMZ: ''This is 200 per cent NOT Carly.''

What's more, this comes just a few weeks after topless photographs of internet model Destiny Benedict were mistaken for the singer.
