Canada's Got Talent Axed After One Season

Canadian TV talent show Canada's Got Talent has been scrapped after just one season.
The spin-off of Fremantle Media and Syco Entertainment's international franchise, which has spawned massive hits in the U.K. and U.S., will not return for season number two later this year (12), due to the costs of production.
Funnyman Martin Short co-hosted the programme, which will now boast only one winner, a teenage clog dancing trio from rural Manitoba, called Sagkeeng's Finest.
