Cameron Crowe And Nancy Wilson Set To Divorce

CAMERON CROWE and his wife NANCY WILSON are set to divorce after the HEART singer-songwriter filed for divorce from the writer and director after more than 20 years of marriage, reports CBS News. 33-year-old Wilson filed the papers on 16th September 2010, citing irreconcilable differences as the reason for the split
The couple married in 1986, and in January 2000 Wilson gave birth to twin boys, William James Crowe and Curtis Wilson Crowe, however, the court filings say that the pair separated back in 2008, and it is reported that Wilson is seeking joint custody of the children.
Crowe is an Academy Award winning writer and is perhaps best known for directing the movies 'Jerry Maguire', starring TOM CRUISE, and 'Say Anything', starring JOHN CUSACK. His film 'Almost Famous', about a young music journalist, was an autobiographical effort that documented Crowe's time as a writer at Rolling Stone magazine - a publication of which he became contributing editor. His wife Nancy is a musician who formed the Seattle band HEART with her sister Ann in the early 1970's. To date, the group have sold over 35 million albums worldwide.
