Californian Mayor Welcomes Justin Bieber To New Home
The mayor of the Californian city of Calabasas has extended a warm welcome to Justin Bieber after the pop star sealed a deal to buy his first home in the area.
The 18-year-old singer has been house-hunting for several months and has now decided to purchase a lavish mansion in Calabasas for more than $6 million (£3.8 million), according to Tmz.com.
Bieber has put pen to paper on the deal and will reportedly be handed the keys in June (12), and the city's mayor, Mary Sue Maurer, is thrilled the pop star will be moving in.
She tells the website, "Justin is welcomed to Calabasas and his privacy will be respected just like everyone else's."
