Sex And The City - Bushnell Splits From Husband

The writer, whose newspaper column spawned the hit TV show starring Sarah Jessica Parker, filed for divorce on Friday (02Dec11).

Bushnell says in a statement, "We had some wonderful times in our nine-year marriage, and I still care about Charles as a person. I respect his desire to pursue his own happiness and hope that we will continue to be friends in the future."

Askegard tells the New York Post, "This is a difficult time for me. Although we have sadly grown apart, I will always respect and care about Candace and appreciate the time we spent together."
