Burns Admires Heroes From Afar
The Fight Club star once rode in an elevator with Woody Allen, but was too shy to say hello, even though the maverick is a hero of Burns'.
Burns tells the New York Daily News, "I rode in an elevator with him at a (New York) Knicks (basketball) game about six years ago - I was too cowardly to say hello.
"Never met him or shook his hand. I'm too intimidated to even try and put in a call for a meeting. I admire my heroes from afar."
