Burnett's Own Show Axed
The reality TV mogul had signed on to co-host a programme similar to hit American chat show The View on Winfrey's new network OWN, which launched earlier this month (Jan11).
But network president Christina Norman has scrapped the show ahead of its planned March (11) premiere.
Norman gave no specific reason for her decision, but said OWN is focusing on prime time, according to Variety.
She says, "We have to be really smart about what goes on our air and when."
But Burnett hasn't been completely ousted from OWN - he already produces a talent show on the network, called Oprah's Search for the Next TV Star.
