Burberry has allegedly prevented other designers from using the same male models as them during Wednesday's (08.01.14) London Collections: Men shows.
Burberry has reportedly banned other designers from using their male models.
The British fashion house placed a last-minute ban on their favourite models from walking in more than one show at London Collections: Men today (08.01.14), according to Patrick Grant, the creative director of Norton & Sons tailors.
The designer told the Daily Telegraph newspaper: ''Burberry have just decided that none of the models who walk in their show can walk in any other shows that day. Of course, my show is on Wednesday, too, so I now have to book four new boys at the last minute.
''It's ridiculous, though, because models are always booked to walk more than one show in a day. It happens all the time. Just when you think you are all ready for something, someone like Burberry comes along and do something like this.''
Spearheaded by Christopher Bailey, Burberry has been an avid supporter of London Collections: Men since its inaugural showcase in June 2012 and is one of the hot tickets for this week's event.
Fashion heavyweights including Dolce & Gabbana, JW Anderson and Tommy Hilfiger have gathered in the English capital to present their autumn/winter 2014 collections.
