Roxy Music - Bryan Ferry Backs $32 Million Art School Bid
Roxy Music legend Bryan Ferry is fronting a campaign to raise $32 million (£20 million) for the Glasgow School of Art.
The Street Life hitmaker agreed to support the Scottish institution's fundraising drive for a revolutionary addition to its Garnethill campus after being given a tour of the school's MACkintosh Building.
The Glasgow School of Art is recognised worldwide as a leader in research in architecture, design and fine art.
Ferry, who worked as an art teacher before finding fame, told Scottish newspaper the Daily Record, "I look forward to working with the school to create this revolutionary centre for postgraduate education and research."
