Die Hard - Bruce Willis Awarded Top French Honour
Die Hard legend Bruce Willis was awarded France's highest cultural honour on Monday (11Feb13).
The actor became a Commander of the Order of Arts and Letters in recognition of his stellar movie career at a prizegiving in Paris.
Willis, who attended the event with his wife Emma Heming, told the crowd he felt at home in France, but admitted he was against President Francois Hollande's plans to slap wealthy citizens with a 75 per cent tax.
The action star joked that he hoped he "would be able to complain about it if he lived in France".
Previous recipients of the accolade include Sir Michael Caine, Clint Eastwood and Donald Sutherland.
