Bruce Willis and Jai Courtney's musical bond

Bruce Willis and Jai Courtney bonded over music on the set of 'A Good Day To Die Hard'.

The pair play father and son John and Jack McClane in the latest installment of the 'Die Hard' franchise and found they had similar interests.

Jai said: ''We talked a lot about our love of music. I got into the guitar at a young age and it's a big part of what I like to do during my downtime.''

Jai is keen to work with Bruce - who enjoyed brief pop success in the late 1980s - on another movie and would love to make more music with him.

He added to People magazine: ''If we do another film together, I'm going to make him break out his harmonica and bust some covers with me.''

Despite starring in action movies such as 'A Good Day To Die Hard' and 'Jack Reacher' with Tom Cruise, Jai insists he isn't macho in real life.

He said: ''I'm more likely to give you a cuddle than a punch in the face. I have a soft side, especially with my girlfriend [actress Gemma Pranita]. I send her flowers and use my culinary skills to pull off romantic meals. I do great Thai dishes.''
