Bruce Springsteen To Play Hyde Park

by | 10 February 2009

Bruce Springsteen has been announced as the headline act of the Hard Rock Calling event in Hyde Park this summer.

The American legend will be supported by the Dave Matthews Band and The Gaslight Anthem on Sunday June 28th.

Springsteen's latest album Working on a Dream topped the UK album charts on Sunday for the second week on a row, matching its position on the Billboard Top 200 chart in the US.

The Hard Rock Calling event will make up part of Springsteen's latest world tour due to begin in April.

The tour is set to begin in America and will come to Europe at the end of May.

The 59-year-old has received considerable time in the limelight recently, after performing at the Barack Obama's presidential inauguration and at the Super Bowl XLIII.
