Brown Hires Gibson's Rep To Salvage Career
The Kiss Kiss hitmaker is facing possible jail time after he was charged by Los Angeles police with making criminal threats following a heated argument with ex-girlfriend Rihanna in the early hours of 8 February (09). The incident is said to have left the Umbrella star in need of hospital treatment and she has since returned to her native Barbados to recuperate.
Brown broke his silence on the day's events on Sunday (15Feb09), when he released a statement admitting he was "saddened" by the incident and claimed he was getting counselling from his pastor and his family.
And the 19 year old is taking further steps to salvage his pop star status - by hiring Alan Nierob, the man who saved Gibson's movie career after his infamous anti-Semitic outburst in 2006, when he was arrested for driving under the influence (DUI).
