Country music singer ZAC BROWN went back to school last week (ends19Sep10) to play a concert for special needs students in Texas.
The Zac Brown Band frontman, along with his bandmate Clay Cook, performed at the Bynum School in Midland, Texas, on Friday (17Sep10), after a volunteer at the facility won a competition organised in conjunction with the Grammy Foundation.
The musical duo performed and shared stories about their career with 37 pupils, as well as their families and teachers.
Brown said, "I've been blessed to have music in my life since my childhood. Today, too many schools are finding it impossible to maintain a vibrant music program."
