Brolin Feared Bike Accident Had Cost Him Dream Role
Actor JOSH BROLIN feared he'd wrecked his dream of working with filmmakers JOEL and ETHAN COEN after shattering his collarbone in a motorbike accident two days after winning a role in NO COUNTRY FOR OLD MEN.
The Planet Terror star flew over the handlebars of his bike in a collision with a car in Los Angeles in May, 2006 and admits his first concern after the accident was whether or not he'd be fit enough for the Coen Brothers' new film.
He tells Entertainment Weekly magazine, "I just remember thinking, `F**king s**t! I really wanted to work with the Coens' I was in the air going, 'Man, that was a good part.'"
But two weeks after the accident he showed up on set to play a man on the run from drug lords.
