An inquest has ruled British actress Lynsey Pow hanged herself after struggling with drug problems and gambling addiction.
The 34 year old, who appeared in U.K. Tv shows including Secret Diary Of A Call Girl and Waterloo Road, was found dead at her apartment in Lewisham, south London in November, 2013.
An inquest at Southwark Coroner's Court on Thursday (06Nov14) ruled Pow took her own life and her husband found her hanged. She was surrounded by drug paraphernalia and bank statements showing her gambling debts, and a post-mortem examination found traces of cocaine and alcohol in her system.
Assistant Coroner Sarah Ormond-Walshe recorded a narrative verdict, ruling the presence of drugs in Pow's system meant it was not possible to prove she intended to kill herself, stating, "(Pow) appeared to have obtained some cocaine and while under the influence of cocaine she appeared to hang herself."
The actor says he isn't "holding out for more money or doing anything like that".
The drama will be making its return to the streaming service in the near future.
