Brett Favre - Brett Favre To Begin Television Career?

Brett Favre, the legendary Nfl quarter-back, says he may begin a career in television now that he has retired from the game. Brett Favre, who filed his retirement papers with the Nfl in January, says he is looking forward to "starting a new career".
During an interview on the Mississippi television station Wdam-TV, the 41-year-old was asked what he intends to do following his retirement from the game, to which he replied, "Could be coaching, could be TV. Both of those are probably unlikely, at least anytime soon". Favre seemed to suggest that a role on television was more appealing, noting that he doesn't expect to become a coach "anytime soon at any level". Despite being regarded as one of the game's finest ever quarterbacks, Favre's career ended acrimoniously following an 'explicit texting scandal' involving pitch side reporter Jenn Sterger. Back in October 2010, reports surfaced that Favre has sent several suggestive text and picture messages to Sterger while he played for the New York Jets. After an investigation by the Nfl, Favre was fined $50,000 for "failure to cooperate" but there was insufficient evidence to establish whether he had sent the messages himself. Despite becoming the subject of huge media interest, Sterger's lawyer insisted that the 27-year-old had never intended to profit from the scandal.
Brett Favre married his wife Deanna Tynes in 1996 and the couple have two daughters together, 'Brittany' and 'Breleigh'. He recently became a grandfather for the first time, after Brittany gave birth to 'Parker Brett' in 2010.
