The Brett Favre texting scandal has taken a new turn this week after JENN STERGER's manager said that the legal team leading the investigation are hopeful that a person who knows how Favre acquired her contact details will speak to them this week, reports ABC News.
PHIL REESE, Sterger's manager, said that he is optimistic that an insider will reveal to them how the quarter-back came to get the former pitch-side reporter's telephone number. Favre, currently playing for the Minnesota Vikings, is alleged to have sent suggestive text messages and lewd photos to Sterger while he was with the New York Jets in 2008. Sterger's lawyer, JOSEPH CONWAY, says that there's "nothing new right now" in terms of the investigation, and confirmed that his client has not yet met with the NFL, however she is expected to do so in the near future, he added, "we do have a dialogue with the NFL in terms of a potential meeting".
41-year-old Favre married his wife, Deanna, in 1996, and the couple have two daughters, Brittany and Breleigh. Their first grandchild was born on April 2nd 2010, named Parker Brett.
