Bratt's Nephew Killed In Car Collision
Actor Benjamin Bratt is mourning the loss of his 20-year-old nephew, after he was killed in a tragic car accident.
Kristopher Bratt - the son of the Miss Congeniality star's eldest brother - died early on Tuesday morning (11Dec07) when his vehicle was struck by a stolen car being chased by police in San Francisco, California. The thieves had driven through a red traffic light when they crashed into Bratt's car, killing the youngster on impact. His passenger also passed away shortly after the incident.
The main suspect, Richard Gosnell, has been charged with a total of seven offences, including two counts of gross vehicular manslaughter and one count of felony hit and run.
His accomplice, Joshua Wilson, is also being held in custody and is facing two charges of theft, reports TMZ.com.
Both men were treated for minor injuries after the collision before being put behind bars.
