Brangelina Set For New Ventureby Contributor | 22 October 2007
Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie are to put their partnership skills to practice in their first production project together.
According to the Hollywood Reporter, the glamorous Holly wood duo are set to create a behind-the-scenes drama for HBO about the lives of humanitarian workers in some of the world's most dangerous zones.
Scott Burns, the co-writer of The Bourne Ultimatum and producer of the Oscar-winning documentary An Inconvenient Truth, is set to pen the series' script and act as co-executive producer.
Pitt and Jolie have appeared together on screen before - in the film which brought them together, Mr and Mrs Smith - but this latest project will be close to both actors' hearts.
Jolie has experienced for herself the plight of the world's most needy and those who work to help them through her role as a goodwill ambassador for the United Nations.
And both have made it clear they intend to do more than just light up the big screen through their Jolie-Pitt Foundation, which has donated $1 million (£492,000) towards the humanitarian efforts in Sudan's troubled Darfur region.
