Bleeding Through - Brandan Schieppati Undergoes Emergency Dental Surgery

The band is currently touring with fellow groups Demon Hunter and Cancer Bats and was due to perform at the House of Blues in San Diego, California at the weekend.

However, the group's slot was scrapped after Schieppati was told he needed three wisdom teeth extracted.

In a statement posted to the band's Facebook.com page, a spokesperson writes, "Brandan had to have emergency orthodontic surgery today and we have to cancel this evenings (sic) performance. Symptoms started to appear yesterday and put him in a no choice position this morning. I can assure you from the many messages he has sent the band saying... 'I am so sorry' he would do it if he could. We all apologies (sic) for any trouble this could have caused and appreciate your support.

"Brandan had to have three wisdom teeth pulled today - it was a sudden emergency situation. We will not be able to perform in San Diego tonight."

Schieppati hopes to return to the stage this week (begs30Jul12).
