Bradley Cooper - Bradley Cooper To Star In The Crow Remake?
Bradley Cooper - The 36-year-old American actor Bradley Cooper is reportedly in talks to star in an upcoming remake of the 'The Crow'. Bradley Cooper is being eyed to portray the supernatural crime fighter in director Juan Carlos Fresnadillo's adaptation of the cult comic book.
The actor, who recently completed work on 'The Hangover Part II', would play 'Eric Draven', a rock musician who is murdered while trying to save his wife from attackers. Draven is resurrected shortly after and seeks vengeance on his killers. Brandon Lee starred as the crime-fighter in the popular 1994 film adaptation, but he tragically died on set after being accidently shot by a prop gun. The new movie appears to be a priority for Relativity Media, who have already confirmed that Edward R. Pressman, Jeff Most and Ryan Kavanaugh will produce. Mark Wahlberg was initially in the running to play Draven but talks fell through for unknown reasons.
If Bradley Cooper signs on for the project, production is expected to begin by the fall with a release date tentatively scheduled for late 2012.
