Bradley Cooper - Bradley Cooper to remake German comedy Kokowaah

Bradley Cooper is making a 'Kokowaah' reboot.

The Oscar-nominated actor has signed up to produce an English language version of the hit German comedy for Warner Bros, which he is also rumoured to be directing as well as taking on the lead role.

The film tells the story of carefree bachelor Henry and devoted husband Trevor, who have to re-evalute their lives when they discover the real paternity of Trevor's 8-year old daughter Maddy.

'Kokowaah' was a big hit in Germany and became the highest-grossing film of 2011, with the sequel recently opening to box-office success.

Chris Shafer and Paul Vicknair are working on the script and Sheroum Kim will executive produce alongside Bradley, who is considering making the movie his directorial debut.

Should he choose to do so, he would be following in the lead of the comedy's orginal writer, director and actor, Til Schweiger.

The actor is coming off a wave of nominations for his role in David O'Russell's 'Silving Linings Playbook' and will be reuniting with his Best Actress Oscar-winning co-star Jennifer Lawrence in David's new project.

The busy star is due to begin shooting 'The Hangover Part III' this year as well as Cameron Crowe's new film and developing 'American Sniper' and 'Dark Invasion'.
