Brad Pitt To Star in World War II Drama Fury

Brad Pitt is rumored to star in a World War II film called Fury, which is to be helmed by End of Watch director David Ayer. QED is financing and producing along with Le Grisbi Productions.

Is it just us, or is Brad Pitt on a mission to make every film he didn’t get a chance to do when he was young? He’s done World War Z – the zombie film done a million times before, but never by Pitt, and now he’s set to do the WWII film (again, done before by loads of people), but this time? Well Pitt’s in it. Fury revolves around the five-man crew of an American tank named Fury that runs across a desperate German division; Bill Block, John Lesher and Ethan Smith are also producing. Pitt’s most recently been seen peering out of a helicopter for the new World War Z poster. The world is all going to… poo below him, and he’s just looking cool, checking out everything down there. The film, which also stars The Killing‘s Mireille Enos, is set to hit theaters on June 21.

Pitt’s other half, Angelina Jolie, has been busy too. She’s opened up a school in Afghanistan for 200-300 girls, and there’ll be more, funded by her jewelry line.
