Brad Pitt - Brad Pitt Claims Jennifer Aniston Marriage Remarks Were 'Miscontrued'
Brad Pitt has claimed remarks he made concerning his marriage to Jennifer Aniston were misconstrued. The actor, who rarely comments on his personal life, was quoted as suggesting his marriage to the actress may have explained the lack of his interest in his life at the time.
Speaking to Parade Magazine, Brad stunned fans by explaining, "It became very clear to me that I was intent on trying to find a movie about an interesting life, but I wasn't living an interesting life myself. I think that my marriage had something to do with it. Trying to pretend the marriage was something that it wasn't". His remarks were inferred to be a direct criticism of Aniston, although the actor clarified the comments when speaking to The Today Show's Matt Lauer. After the host offered to read Pitt the Parade quote, the Hollywood star pleaded, "No, I, you know, please don't read it ... Because I don't read these things, by choice, I don't. I don't want to be encumbered by any of that", adding, "I know my intentions, and I know what I believe, and I know things get misconstrued. I live outside of, of that, and it's much healthier". Pitt, who now has a family with long-time partner Angelina Jolie, is currently promoting his latest flick 'Moneyball', of which he is gaining rave reviews. The movie tells the story of Oakland A coach Billy Beane and his successful attempt to fix a failing baseball club by employing computer generated player analysis.
The actor is currently filming the hugely anticipated apocalypse movie 'World War Z', in the United Kingdom.
