Boyzone May Quit Touring Over Gately Death

Irish pop group BOYZONE may never tour again - because the death of tragic bandmate STEPHEN GATELY has changed their onstage dynamic.

The No Matter What hitmakers are set to release a new album next year (10), their first since Gately died at his home in Majorca, Spain, in October (09) from a build-up of fluid on the lungs.

But the four-piece is wracked with indecision over whether to promote the record with a string of gigs - as they saw Gately as the key figure of their live shows.

Ronan Keating tells U.K. morning show GMTV, "We don't really know if we are going to tour. We don't know how it's going to be. He (Gately) was the colour in the band, so important to our performance that to go on without him - to tour without him - I don't know if we can. I don't know what that's going to be like. Right now, making the record is our priority. We'll see how we go."
