Borrell: 'I Took Drugs Because Of Lennon'

RAZORLIGHT frontman JOHNNY BORRELL blames hero JOHN LENNON for his drug habit, and credits rock rival PETE DOHERTY with helping him kick it. Borrell - reportedly dating actress KIRSTEN DUNST - insists he was inspired to try drugs because of the late BEATLE's experimentation with narcotics. But he insists Doherty, who he has feuded and physically fought with in the past, has helped him leave his habit behind. Borrell says, "Pete was inspirational."

I'm beginning to see a pattern here. This site seems to repeatedly posts stories that make John Lennon look bad. Where are the good stories? He did so much good. No one can blame someone else for their drug habit. The guy made his own choices. John Lennon didn't force him to take drugs. Let's not forget, there are many, many people who picked up a guitar and were inspired to write music because of John. There are many people who decided to give peace a chance because of him. Probably many dads who were either inspired or at least justified in being a Mr. Mom by taking care of the home and the children because of him. Etc., etc., etc... Come on, John Lennon is one of the most important musical figures of our time. He did so much good. That's what needs to be recognised!
