Bono Enters Into Business Venture With Us Students
Students at Miami University's Centre for Social Entrepreneurship will buy cotton T-shirts produced by Edun Apparel in Africa, and sell them on at a profit to other organisations.
The U2 frontman set up the company with wife ALI HEWSON in 2005 to boost trade and jobs in developing countries, under the slogan "trade, not aid".
It is believed similar deals will be agreed with other US colleges in the near future.
