Bono - Bono, Clooney & Alba Film Famine Awareness Advert

Philanthropic rocker Bono has recruited his celebrity friends George Clooney, Jessica Alba and Joe Jonas for a new public service announcement (Psa) film aimed at raising awareness about the famine crisis sweeping across Eastern Africa.
The stars all feature in a new advertisement for One, the anti-poverty advocacy group co-founded by Bono and Somalian rapper K'naan, alongside fellow famous faces such as Rob Lowe, Colin Farrell, Ewan MCGregor and Annie Lennox.
In the Psa, titled The F Word: Famine is the Real Obscenity, Clooney says, "Thirty thousand children have died in just three months."
The celebrities go on to explain, "The worst drought in 60 years is devastating parts of Africa and 12 million men, women and children are on the brink. Really? In 2011? Are you f**king kidding me? ...Famine is man made."
The minute-long video is designed to encourage people to speak out about the crisis and call on government officials across the world to send help to the millions of Somali refugees who have left their homes in a bid to find food.
The Psa ends with the statement: "We're not asking for your money, we're asking for your voice."
The stars aren't the first to draw attention to the famine - Oxfam Ambassador Scarlett Johansson, Hugh Jackman, Mia Farrow and Sienna Miller have all spoken out about the international humanitarian issue in recent weeks.
