Bonnaroo Lineup 2012: Radiohead, Beach Boys And Bon Iver

The 2012 festival season is gearing up already, with many festivals announcing their line-ups now, well in advance of the summer, in order to maximise on tickets sales. The Bonnaroo festival has been taking place in Manchester, Tennessee since 2002 and the festival organisers have just released their first wave of bands for this year's show. Radiohead and Red Hot Chili Peppers are among the biggest draws for the weekend event, which takes place on June 7 - 10, 2012.
Following Sunday's awards ceremony, the Bonnaroo line-up also includes some recent Grammy winners, in the form of Bon Iver and Skrillex. And the newly-reformed Beach Boys also join the festival line-up, following their televised performance at the Grammy awards. It's largely a contemporary line-up, with underground dance acts like Sbtrkt, Flying Lotus and Major Lazer fleshing out the middle of the bill. And disproving the theory that guitar music is dead, they have the likes of Joy Formidable, The Black Lips and Kurt Vile and the Violators on board. There are some classic performers in there, as well, with Alice Cooper set to take the stage, as well as established acts such as Flogging Molly, Ben Folds Five and The Roots.
The summer pre-sale and holiday pre-sale tickets have already been snapped up. The next batch of tickets, priced at $234.50 for the four day event are "coming soon," according to the festival website.
