British fans of U.S. TV show BONES were given an early Halloween treat - after the shows bosses planted a series of skeletons around the U.K. The David Boreanaz-fronted show has mounted a frightening campaign across the country promoting the third series of the programme on British TV network Sky One. Stores in London, Glasgow and Manchester have been made-over into fake crime scenes - the supposed work of the show's Silver Skeleton Killer. Each stark white room features a battered leather chair, a wooden chest and a skeleton, with Bones crime scene tape cordoning off the area. A web address daubed at the scene - linfor.co.uk - takes users to an online forensics game that features clues from the lead characters Bones and Booth, played by Emily Deschanel and Boreanaz.
