Bon Scott's Son Wants To Play Him In Movie

The son of late AC DC rocker BON SCOTT is bidding to play his dad in a planned biopic.
Director Eddie Martin revealed last week (4Dec08) he is planning a movie based on the life of the star, who died in 1980, aged just 33, during an interview with website Undercover.com.au.
The news prompted the singer's 35-year-old son Ben - whose mother is Gloria Torrance - to write to the website, asking to be cast in the lead role.
He says, "Upon seeing in the papers last week the articles of how Eddie would like to do a bio of my Dad I wondered what Bon would have thought about this and I also wondered what some of Bon's mates would think too. Right then I decided that I really needed to 'put my hat into the ring' so to speak; because I believe that if I were given the chance there would be a lot of people who would really enjoy seeing Bon's son on the big screen. Realistically though... I really understand that I have no training in acting so my chances are pretty slim. But hey, you gotta be in to win it".
