Legendary Bollywood filmmaker B.R. CHOPRA has died at the age of 94.
The veteran director, who had been ill for some time, passed away on Wednesday (05Nov08) at his home in suburban Mumbai, his family has confirmed.
Chopra made a name for himself with a string of classic movies in the 1950s and 1960s, such as Gumrah and Naya Daur, starring Bollywood legend Dilip Kumar.
He later went on to produce the hugely popular Asian TV series Mahabharata.
