Prosecutors in Brooklyn, New York have dropped a gun charge against rapper Bobby Shmurda and incorporated it into the ongoing drug and weapons case against him in Manhattan.
The 20-year-old hip-hop star is currently behind bars facing a string of charges including murder, gun possession, drug dealing and conspiracy, following his arrest as part of a police sting in Manhattan last month (Dec14).
He was also facing an additional gun charge stemming from an arrest in Brooklyn in June (14), but officials later stated plans to drop the accusation.
On Tuesday (24Feb15), they dismissed the charge against him but it has now been incorporated into the Manhattan case.
Brooklyn Judge William Miller said, "In light of the Da's (District Attorney's) representations, all four counts of the indictment are included in the Manhattan case."
The star, real name Ackquille Pollard, remains in jail after his bail was set at $2 million (£1.3 million).
The actor says he isn't "holding out for more money or doing anything like that".
The drama will be making its return to the streaming service in the near future.
