Bobby Brown Working On Comeback To Avoid Emotions Following Mum's Death

R&B veteran Bobby Brown has become a workaholic in a bid to deal with the grief of his mother's death in January (11).

The My Prerogative singer laid his mum Carole to rest in Boston, Massachusetts on 31 January (11) and paid tribute to her by performing with his New Edition bandmates at the funeral.

Brown admits his mum meant the world to him - and he's throwing himself into his work to avoid confronting his emotions.

He tells Hip-Hop Weekly, "She was my everything; she taught me everything that I know. She taught me how to be a man. My father wasn't there to teach me how to be a man. She taught me what she wanted out of me to be a man.

"I'm not trying to deal with it (deal) yet. I know I have a big angel up there (in heaven), and I know that my future is in her hands. It's not in the people's hand, because I'm gonna give the people exactly what I have to give them, and that's entertainment, that's good music, that's television, that's movies... that's everything. I'm not gonna stop."
