R&B star Bobby Brown is preparing to release his first solo album in 15 years next month (Jun12).
The New Edition singer has been writing and recording The Masterpiece since 2007 and he treated fans to new tracks Damaged and Get Out The Way early last year (11).
But he will finally unveil his latest work, the follow-up to 1997's Forever, on 5 June (12).
He says, "I simply wanted to create a body of work that will take listeners on a musical journey; the style of music that will allow people to get in touch with their highs and lows and their joys and pain of living through song. At the same time, I am hoping to bridge the gap between good old R&B and R&B of today."
The album release comes at a busy time for Brown - he's reportedly set to marry his manager fiancee Alicia Etheridge in Honolulu, Hawaii less than two weeks later.
