Bobbi Kristina - Bobbi Kristina Brown Comforted By Janet Jackson
Bobbi Kristina Brown, the daughter of the late Whitney Houston was the subject of a recent Janet Jackson interview with the talk show host Anderson Cooper. Janet lost her brother, Michael Jackson in 2009; his death was also widely publicized, as Whitney's has been. Cooper asked Jackson if she had any words of advice for Whitney's teenage daughter.
Jackson told Cooper "it's a very, very tough time. Even though it's a still a loss, I lost my brother, she lost her mother. There's still a difference, even though it's still a loss from the family so I can't. I don't truly know what that is like. And being so young." The advice that she shared for Bobbi Kristina, though was that "you have to some to terms with it at some point and actually give it up to God." Janet chose her words carefully, obviously considering the implications of her advice and added "it sounds so mean, but you have to move on, you can't hold onto that because it could be very devastating". Anderson Cooper, who has also lost a brother, commented on the issue of loss too, saying "I don't think there is such a thing as 'closure'. I think that's just a made up TV word." Jackson agreed, explaining that she and her siblings still thought about their brother, Michael Jackson every day.
Bobbi Kristina was reportedly taken to hospital more than once over the weekend that her mother's death was announced (February 12, 2012). Her father, Bobby Brown, cancelled a concert appearance to fly home to Los Angeles and comfort his daughter.
