An exhibition of photographs, depicting Bob Dylan 's early transformation journey from a rising folk star to a leader in the world of rock, has gone on display in Paris. Ontheredcarpet.com reports that the exhibition is entitled Bob Dylan: The Rock Explosion 61-66, or L'Explosion Rock and will held at the city's Cite de la Musique until July 15, 2012.
The exhibition was organized by the Los Angeles Grammy museum and comprises of 60 black and white photographs of the music legend, taken by Daniel Kramer (now 80 years old). The photos show their subject between 1964 and 1965, at the time in which Dylan was starting to showcase the electric guitar sound that had him branded "Judas" by die-hard folk fans. Among the pictures included in the exhibition are one of him playing chess at the Woodstock festival and staring into a mirror with Kramer, who is holding the camera.
