Blur Play London Show To Mark End Of Olympics
As many of the U.K.'s top acts flocked to the Olympic Stadium for a musical extravaganza at the official Closing Ceremony, the Parklife hitmakers opted to headline a show in nearby Hyde Park for thousands of fans.
They sang several of their hit tracks, and frontman Damon Albarn singled out double gold medal winner Mo Farrah for praise, branding the long-distance runner "an incredible, inspiring human being".
During the gig, he also told the crowd, "The Olympics have been like a breath of fresh air."
