British rocker Blaze Bayley has split from his own band due to "financial and medical reasons".
The former Iron Maiden and Wolfsbane frontman has released a statement, postponing all upcoming U.K. dates until the end of the year (11).
He writes, "Dear fans, due to financial and medical reasons, I've been forced to part ways with the Blaze Bayley Band. I will give a full statement in the next few days about my future plans. I hope that all my fans will keep on supporting me in my further projects.
"The English dates will be postponed to December but the festivals in Germany, Sweden, Lithuania and the show in Istanbul will definitely proceed!"
'Smalls Change (Meditations Upon Ageing)' arrives in April.
The two awards have made for a great 72nd birthday present for the country music icon.
