Blake Lively thinks working on 'Gossip Girl' is like going to college.

The 23-year-old actress is pleased with the way her castmates - including Chace Crawford, Leighton Meester and Taylor Momsen - have seen their careers progress since the show began in 2007, and believe all being of similar ages have made sharing the experiences even better.

She said: "A lot of our cast have had great successes, not only in our work as actors, but also we have incredible musicians in our midst.

"It's really amazing because we are all really young, to be able to share that and do it all with each other, it's been like our own college experience."

The 'Green Lantern' actress had planned to go to college before becoming an actress, but now admits she has no idea what she would study if she went back to school.

She said: "I've already got a profession, so it would have to be a subject that allowed me to generally learn more."
