Bjork - Bjork Set For New York Residency

The quirky singer will perform material from her 2011 release at a string of concerts at the New York Hall of Science in Queens and Manhattan's Roseland Ballroom across February and March (12).

The gigs have been billed as a "live show and education series" and will feature a 24-piece Icelandic female choir as well as custom-made instruments.

As part of the residency, Bjork is working with museum bosses at the New York Hall of Science to organise three weeks of science workshops for schoolchildren to study how music relates to nature.

Bjork will still be taking her show on the road - after her New York stint, she has summer (12) stops planned in South America and Europe.
